Congratulations to Denise, Becky, Mary and myself. We once again have been given the opportunity to serve as the club's officers for another year. Let's see what we can do to make this one more memorable than the last.

I want to thank all the volunteers, Kevin, Sean, Homer, Linda, Becky, Jeff, Paul, Chris, Mike, Chris, Denise, and Mary, for making RaceTrack Weekend happen. It was cold and windy, but your dedication remained. I am not sure which was better, Linda trying on the checkered skirts or the number of Double Deuce sweatshirts we layered up with? Congratulations to Kevin Fern for having the highest sale during Indy Weekend! You beat Linda...next race?...who will take Paul's 'RaceTrack King' title away?

We are now looking forward to building the float for Old Shawnee Days, hosting a reception for the 25th Anniversary of Sister Cities on June 9th from 7-9 at Court of Appeals Pub, and visiting with all the dignitaries/friends from Ireland, Belgium, and Germany. We are still talking about a day trip to Weston and getting ready for the BBQ and NASCAR races in the fall.

We have a lot going on, yet, we can't seem to get enough of one another. A small group has decided that starting this summer we need to do an Irish Pub/Bar hop. We are starting to organize a once/twice a month outing at a new or established Irish Pub somewhere in the Kansas City area. We would like to use this monthly meeting not to discuss the Irish Club but to get to know our fellow members outside club sanctioned activities.
