9/11 First Responders Picinic

On Sunday, the ten-year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, 16 Shawnee firefighters participated in the first Kansas City 9-11 Memorial Stairclimb in Kansas City, Mo. Several wore their event T-shirts to an appreciation picnic for first responders the Irish American Club of Johnson County organized the same day at Shawnee Fire Station 72.
